This psychological thriller is a gripping ride from start to finish. The prologue immediately hooks you, and the narrator’s delivery amplifies the suspense. The pacing is expertly crafted, drawing readers into an intricate plot where every character is suspicious, especially Luke. The story's strength lies in its ability to weave together multiple dark and unexpected storylines, keeping you second-guessing motives and outcomes. While some sections felt slightly drawn out for dramatic effect, the relentless twists and atmospheric tension more than compensate, making this an unputdownable read.

She's not sorry follow the story of Megan, a nurse who tends to a patient who jumped off a bridge and somehow survived. When the police starts suspecting she was pushed off that bridge, things start to tense up.

I loved the way the storylines you think are happening in parallel turn out to have happened one before the other. When Megan admits to have been the one pushing Catelyn I had goosebumps.
However, I did not understand the plot line with Luke. It feels like it's disconnected from everything else, and could easily be skipped. I was expecting there to be a connection between Luke and Catelyn for example, or maybe that Luke could be Sienna's father. I don't know. It just felt meh and brought down the rating from a 4 to a 3.5.

What was that?! I read this one because it was a read-along for a book club back in July and my Libby hold just came up. I am floored that so many people love this book.

I understand redirecting our attention everywhere, but when those diversions cause plot holes!! There was just so much filler. I want to be guessing as I read, not confused.

What kind of mother is she!? There is a serial rapist, in the city, and even worse her neighborhood, and is leaving her 16-year-old daughter home alone OFTEN with a broken door? Multiable times the door wasn't even properly closed when she got home!!! What's with the daughter being oblivious to all the dangers going on around her? Being 16 doesn't explain that, I have been 16 and raised 4 kids who were all 16 once. She, like her mother, doesn't;t seem to have a self-preservation bone in their body, or common sense... until...

I really liked this book because I was always kept guessing on what was happening. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the ending left me with more questions, and didn’t wrap up the mystery, which I hate!!!! I know it’s supposed to leave you hanging on purpose but UGH!!!

The story had me wondering what the connections between all of the events were and there were a few twists and surprises but I did not like the main character at all which made it harder to get through this book.
