I tried to get into this book, but unfortunately I was unable to connect with any of the characters, and found the writing to be a little juvenile. Maybe I'll come back to this later, but I am not sure right now. 2.5/5 for what I finished

This book was ok. There was certainly a lot of intrigue and mystery. But I got a bit tired of ALL of the puzzles that needed to be solved. I think I would have liked this cozy mystery more if there was more character development. I never really connected to any of the characters and did not care about them either. I think this book was totally driven by plot and not characters. I prefer to read more and understand the characters more. So I'm sure this book would be a 5 star for many folks, it's just not quite my cup of tea. Additionally, I don't tend to enjoy cozy mysteries and my fault, I did not read the synopsis of this book. Someone I know highly recommended it so I jumped right in. That's my fault.

Just the type of fun adventure read any hobby conspiracy theorist would love. Think, National Treasure but with deliberate focus on women of history, who we all know are the true heros of any story, war, or legend. Truly enjoyed this, the puzzles and secrets were unique and written so theatrically I could picture every bated-breath-puzzle-solving moment. My singular complaint was the AI plot element, it seemed completely unnecessary. And, unfortunately, since it was so jarring and out of place, affected my overall rating negatively.
