This book is a fun and cute palate cleanser. I liked the characters and the story line, and I read this in one day. Is it the most moving book in the world? No, but the concept of a woman owning a big NFL team was fun and new. I liked that it sort of carried a message of 'you can be anything'.
My only real problem with this book is the fact that Allie's problems with her father are not ever properly addressed, and Luke's issues with Faith's mother are also only vaguely discussed. These issues cause huge trauma for both of them and are never fully explained, even the characters never talk about this.

I love me a good football romance. And add in a badass heroine? I will read it and swoon.

Alexandrea was a BAD ASS. Her character was such a fun one to read about. The way she stepped up to do the job she was given with no warning was so fun to read about. The way that she didn’t put up with bullshit from the guys was so fun to read and the way she proved everyone who rooted against her wrong was just brave.

Luke was such a sweetheart. His relationship with his daughter was adorable and the way his love was shown had me swooning. At first he was an ass, but I understand why especially since he didn’t want his daughter to truly be exposed to that part of his career. But the way that he let himself let loose with Allie was fun to read about.

At first I didn’t see the chemistry that comes with a relationship, I felt it more as just an attraction to one another. But as soon as the photo shoot came and they looked at each other in that one photo, I felt it. And boy did I love it.

This book was enjoyable, the third act conflict was realistic in a way but at the same time I just hate third act conflicts. I liked the book though and it reached almost all the expectations I could have had.
