This one is back to a 3.5 simply for the dumbass decisions Vhalla made at nearly every turn. She can’t go on and on about how she’s changed and grown and become cold to so much and then do the shit she does like she doesn’t have a brain between her ears.

There were some emotionally gripping scenes. But the dumbassery overwhelms much.

Once again, I binged book 2-5 so quickly they’re blurring together but this book felt a tad more filler to me, which would make sense given I’m sure Kova is planning a Big Bang for book 5. We get to learn more about Aldrik and his family in this one which was nice, though something really sad happens. I do also have to say that during her character arc Vhalla can be absolutely frustrating and infuriating ahahaha. This book again ends on a cliffhanger, hence me continuing the binge into book 5!

Liebe bedeutete, sich in einen Sandsturm zu stürzen. Liebe war Mut und -vielleicht vor allem- Vergebung.

Mit Abstand das beste Buch der Reihe, bis jetzt! Was ein Ende!! Ich bin geschockt, verzweifelt, aber auch sehr begeistert, wie sich dieser Teil immer mehr gesteigert hat. Es ist auch mit Abstand der emotionalsten und aufopferungsvollste Teil dieser Geschichte. Unglaublich, was Aldrik und Vhalla alles durchmachen müssen und wie viele Leute ihr Leben gelassen haben. Dabei hat alles so relativ friedlich angefangen.

Beziehungen wurden sehr realistisch und schön weitererzählt oder wieder neu aufgebaut und es gab überaus interessante Geheimnisse zu lösen, welche in einem grandiosen Plot-Twist geendet haben. Ich bin außerdem sehr erleichtert, dass der Norden nicht einfach vergessen wird und auch eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Man wächst emotional auf jeden Fall mit den Charakteren zusammen und das ist meiner Meinung nach immer das größte Lob!
