It was alright. I didn't think it was great writing to be honest, even though I thought the concept was pretty cool. She has so many books I was hoping that I loved these so I could read them all lol.

A nice mix of Sci-fi/Fantasy with a little Paranormal Romance mixed in. I actually really enjoyed this book. May continue on with the series.

This felt like if Gattaca, 1984, and shifter romances had a baby, and I’m not mad about it.

I’ve been hearing about this series for years and glad I finally got around to the audiobook in preparation for meeting Nalini Singh later this summer. I am definitely going to be checking out more of this series, and her books, because this one had all the things I love wrapped up into one package!

POV: dual third person

You can expect: shifters, psychics, forbidden relationship, natural enemies to lovers, alpha male (literally), mates, opposites attract, “touch her and die”, he falls first, “mine”, found family, belonging, panther shifter MMC, investigation, forced proximity, hacking but of the brain, dream smut.
