The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot is warm and full of mischief. Cronin laces together the lives of two unlikely friends through short paintings of their pasts, creating a vivid and life affirming book which asks readers to reflect on love, strength and family. I was drawn in by Lenni's youthful honesty and curiosity, and Margot's warmth and wit. This is an incredibly heart warming book, full of believable and bold characters.
