Slightly disturbed. Cliff hanger ending. I don’t know why I read this book, I didn’t like it, and yet I really want to see were this goes (not in a good way)
Info on the rape: (he doesn't do it, its talked about)

This book was reasonably enjoyable but I felt that about two thirds of the way though it was becoming quite repetitive. Wasn't expecting the ending though so bonus points for that.

One thing that I did find kind of annoying was that the main character is supposed to be British but occasionally would use phrases and terms that wouldn't be used here and I found that quite jarring.

This book. I think I experienced every emotion known while reading it. About 30% through I had to stop and pop back here to Goodreads to skim some reviews because WHAT WAS I READING?! I’m glad the reviews seemed overwhelming positive and I continued it. I read it in less than 24 hours, and will be dying slowly until the sequel gets to my house in two days. I’m convinced I’ve never read a true enemies-to-lovers story before this one. Valroy makes Luc, Wrath, Rhys, and the rest look like sweet little kids on the playground at recess. The boar thing and the questionable consent almost made me DNF, but all those 4&5 star reviews made me press on. Glad that I did because I can’t wait to see where the rest of this series goes.

If you love a toxic villain love interest à la the Darkling, look no further. Kathryn King's Valroy, Unseelie Prince, is the perfect wicked villain to sate your dark desires. Though there's less spice than I'd like in this book, there's plenty of mystery, intrigue, and constant teasing to drive you through to the very end (and I've read Julian Strande so I know King is going to deliver). Thankfully, the next installment comes out in December, which I will most definitely be reading.

Check TW/CWs cause these fae are NOT your friendly neighborhood Bat Boys from ACOTAR
