Very sweet story a la "Man Called Ove" and "All the Lonely People." I enjoyed this book a lot. Some elements felt a little cliche/overdone, but the overall heart was there through the entire thing. Highly recommend to the heartfelt literary fiction crowd.

This felt like a happier version of a man called ove. Keep in mind - I didn’t read a man called ove in full, I found that book to be terrible. This one was ultimately happy, uplifting, and perfect for me timing wise.
If you just need a happy book - get through the first 100 pages and you’ll be in your way!
