Adorable. I need a prequel about the grandmas.

Loved the Deaf representation! It was part of the character's experience but not their defining characteristic.

This was such a warm story, written with heart and beautifully drawn. The main romance was sweet and healthy. I think the grandmothers were my favorite part, I want to be that kind of wholesome-but-feisty when I'm their age.

I'd have given this five stars except for some cliches, but they were all in good fun. I loved the experience and would definitely recommend it for YA readers who want to see Queer, Nonbinary, and/or Deaf representation!

A very sweet, quick read with wonderful illustrations! I really like Tam and Nova as characters and the Nanas are just so funny and caring. Also, Tat is a great friend (and I wish we got more of her). I love the representation and diversity- with sapphic relationships, Tam being nonbinary, and Nova being HOH.

There were some "pacing" issues and I do wish we got to see more of Nova and Tam's budding friendship as kids, as their relationship felt a little bit insta-love at times. And I would have loved to get a little bit more world-building in terms of witch magic vs. wolf magic and the magical world outside of the human world. Also... I NEED TO KNOW TERRY'S STORY!

Overall, a very fun read, especially for someone who hasn't read many graphic novels!
