This book was pretty good until the end. There was barely a climax, and after all the build up with the ex, it just kind of...fizzled out. However, I did like the fact that from the first page everything that was said or done on page was something that advanced the plot in some way (or at the very least was relevant to the overall story). There are some authors, especially on kindle unlimited, that think good writing is detailing every monotonous and inconsequential conversation/interaction with characters who may barely be side characters, sometimes lasting for PAGES. So you've read 20 pages and literally nothing of relevance has happened. So I appreciate it for not wasting my time.

I don't have much else to say. It was fine. 3 stars!
