a veure, és bastant xulo i interessant, sobretot m’ha agradat veure com el prota en Dorian evoluciona i canvia al llarg del llibre amb les interaccions amb Lord Henry, penso que té molt de rerefons però és molt dens a estones… en plan we get it, segle XIX i tal, però a ratos es fa difícil de seguir llegint. anyway, i’m happy that i did

This was such an interesting novel to read!! The writing style is so flowery and poetic and surprisingly works well with the darkness of the novel. I loved the story and was entranced by the conversations of morality vs immorality, all the dark ideas and temptations they discuss and how it impacts not only Dorian's, but everyone else he later meets', lives.
I thought the twists in this book were very clever and they shocked me personally. Everything is so twisted and it's just so interesting to read about. Definitely one of the best classics I've read, if not the best.

We’ll give it 4.5 stars for obvious literary merit, even though I was not thinking too hard while I was reading this. Despite the long winded rambles on philosophy and jewels and whatnot the pace was impressive and I found this book pretty enjoyable, good classic, glad to finally read it after years of it being on my shelf. Also low key realized that before reading this I did not actually know what the story was about, I’d always just had a different idea in my head based on what I’d heard.
