So this final book in the Deanna Madden series did not disappoint. I will say that book 2 was my favorite if I had to choose though. I loved that this took place in past and present but they weren’t that far apart. Like the past was actually so recent so I often got mixed up while listening to this one. As always Deanna KILLED it and I think her true personality really came through in this one. I LOVED that we got to see more from Mike and Derek as well. Overall I loved this and think it ended pretty perfectly all things considered.

I really enjoyed this despite the ending. The ending was a major disappointment for me and left me feeling like there is unfinished business which I hope means that there will be more books!

If you Dare by A. R. Torre was a great finale to her thriller/mystery series about Deanna Madden. I really enjoyed this series and how it took stereotypical moments and turned them on their heads. I loved the mystery surrounding Deanna’s character, and I think this book worked well to highlight the complexities of her relationship with herself. She’s a great example of a normally grey character, and watching her fight with inner thoughts of violence and love made of an interesting read. I think all of the characters were moveable in their own way, and if you’re looking for a spicy (spicy spicy spicy) thriller, this is definitely a good fit.

This one was COMPLETELY different than the first two but still amazing. Wild and crazy and twists and turns! I'm sad it's over. She did say in the author's note that she isn't against more Deanna stories. So fingers crossed

I didn't like this one as much as the first two, but I still really enjoyed it. I really hope she decides to add another book to this series because I feel like the ending was concluded, but open enough that she could write another book. I wanted so much more Mike. He was barely in this one and the second book made it seem like he was going to be a bigger character and then he wasn't?? I wouldn't be mad if the next book was Mike centered... just saying. This series overall is very good and like I said wouldn't mind if there was another one. HINT HINT
