Page turner!

I really enjoyed this book. I know a lot of reviews mentioned it’s too process full but for me I loved it. It felt like the speed of the investigation and the speed bumps you get in a possible case.

Characters were good! And I’ve just gone and bought the sequel.

I read it in under a week and I couldn’t put the book down.

Fun, gruesome thriller following DI Anjelica Henley. Excited to continue reading more about this South London inspector who definitely should quit her morose and terrifying job in the Serial Crimes Unit.

This debut from Nadine Matheson is great. It was a little slow to start, but once it got going, I was hooked. There is room to offer a prequel and I look forward to other books in this series.

DI Angelica Henley is recently returned to the field after being attacked by a serial killer and ending up on desk-duty. Thrust into the beginning of what appears to be a copycat serial killer investigation, Henley struggles with her PTSD and her relationships. There was a lot of cat and mouse in this book and I enjoyed the journey.

Thank you to Hanover Square Press and Netgalley for an e-arc for review.

This was very long and pretty boring. It took me a long time to get through. It didn’t feel like a lot happened. Rob really annoyed me. This was a bit too long for my taste.

Some of the violence was too graphic for me, but you can probably skim over it if you want.

Though this story felt familiar, I really enjoyed this book. The Jigsaw Man starts out with some of my favorite crime story pieces. First, you have the seasoned DI with the rookie trainee combo. So my heart is telling me I don’t wanna get too attached. Then you have a convicted killer who you ALMOST felt was justified. Emphasis on the almost
