Gladwell is a polarizing author - people either love him or I hate him. I'm in the former camp. Great read, though some of his hypotheses need to be taken with a grain of salt.

This was a very interesting and very worthwhile read. While a lot of it is more anecdotal, the evidence presented by Gladwell is certainly fantastic in reframing success and the societal ideas behind it. The fact that there are so many very well known examples that had incredibly fortunate opportunities (like Bill Gates getting so much computer experience) or statistical backing (like all of the richest men who ever lived being born in the same decade or the majority of hockey players being born in the first three months of the year) is kind of staggering. It's also all presented in an easily digestible and interesting way.
