Loved this second book in the Men of Ice series!

Nikolai Brantov is a rookie from Russia playing for the NHL expansion team, The San Antonio Generals. He has just come to the US 5 months ago and is focusing all his energy on hockey.

Meryl Johnson is the owner's daughter and is instantly attracted to Nik and devises a plan to work closely with him and get to know him better.

One thing stands in the way of Nik and Meryl and that is her father, Rick. With Meryl's past Rick is willing to do anything to keep them apart, and I mean anything.

This book is great! I loved how Meryl did lots for her community, and although it started off due to different intentions I liked where it was headed!

I liked how Nik stayed with a host family as I know that is done in the NHL with rookies and it was great to see how Nik bonded with the family and his love of the sport!

I can't wait for the next book with Trevor!!
