This book was a quick smile from a friendly looking stranger on the street. It was over before I realized it happened, and made me feel nice. Definitely an old white dude saving lesbians from the big bad world, but I appreciate that King’s characters and their relationships have gotten more diverse with each book. If you liked some of his not-so-murdery books like The a Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon this is for you.

A brief, enjoyable read. Not without flaw, but it's niceness is in its brevity. Escape for a couple of hours in a small town with a small group of people and a dude who becomes lighter and lighter. A simple, fun book.

Well. This was not what I was expecting. Short & sweet. But I was not prepared to feel so sad at the end. I’m literally wiping my tears now. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY. Anywayssss great read. Thanks, Stephen.
