Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll

Compelling, not in the sense that it's a mystery, but speaking to the experience of misogyny. Internalised and external, the submission women feel they have to put themselves through, and ultimately the refusal to do so until justice takes place in its own way

I don't know if crime books are for me, but I liked hearing Ruth's story.

2.5 - I really wanted to like this! I did. Like aspects of it for example the fact that the killer looked like a major loser and talked a lot about how ted bundy was sensationalised in the media (and never mentioned his name which I also liked) but I found the flipping perspective confusing to follow and it felt like I never got to know a character before it flipped back to something else
