If you’ve Acquisition series then you'll already know who Lucius Vinemont is, and if you haven’t he’s the middle brother of the Vinemont’s. I’d suggest reading the Acquisition series it is amazing and so good. Plus it gives the background but you don’t have to but I highly recommend it cause your missing out otherwise.

When it comes to Lucius you’ll either love him or hate him but either way he makes an impression on you. He’s the ultimate anti-hero that you root for and hope he eventually finds someone who can put him in his place. However that’s not happened until he meets Evie.

Lucius has never faced a woman like her before and he’s shocked because that just doesn’t happen everyone bends to a Vinemont but he’s met his match this time.

Overall, I loved it! I’ve missed the Vinemont’s, I loved seeing Sin and Stella in the book, I’m hoping that Teddy gets his own story as well.

I love a good anti-hero story. There aren’t enough of them!

Lucius by Celia Aaron is a thrilling enemy to lovers dark romance. This is the fourth book in the Acquisition series. You could read this book alone if you have not read the previous books. However, it will make much more sense if you had some prior knowledge of the Acquisition.

Either way, you won’t be disappointed. This is no meet-cute love story. As with all of Celia Aaron’s books this starts with bang. It is slow burn, yet action packed. We have Lucius, our anti-hero we love to hate and Evelyn, our bad-ass heroine ready to strike, seeking her revenge.

I loved Lucius and Evelyn’s relationship dynamic. The hate is real between them (mostly on Evelyns side) since Lucius has no recollection of who Evelyn is. I enjoyed seeing how their relationship changed throughout the story.

Lucius book and the whole Acquisition world is wild. When are the movies coming out?

**I received this book in exchanged for an honest review.**
