This was incredibly frustrating. I still enjoyed a lot of it but the stupid decisions in this one were all time irritating. What added to my frustration was that in the first half, I understood a lot of why these stupid decisions were being taken. After the second half, a lot of that understanding went down the drain for me.

What a ride! I’ve determined this is my favorite book in the series! Kept my attention the entire time, I didn’t want to put it down! Pip needs so much therapy! She is such a complicated character, I would love to see where she is in ten, maybe twenty years. This series speaks volumes to how screwed up our legal system is. Although I just learned this doesn’t take place in America (I must be very dumb). The ending hit me right in the heart with the text message. I also would have loved to know Pips reaction to the verdict as well as Ravis. Also their reunion. But I did like the open ending!

Finished this in less than 24 hours. The most I’ve ever been immersed in a book. Would recommend to anybody.

this book is by far my favourite of the series with agggtm being a very close second! the detail is incredible. there are many twists and turns however i was able to predict one of the main parts in it, which tbh made me find it even more enjoyable like i was solving the crime along with pip! over all i would 100% recommend this book!!!
(PS, i read the english version of the book as opposed to the us version but it’s most likely the same)

"I suppose if you were ever involved in anything like this, you'd know exactly how to get it away with it."

There are good parts and bad parts of this book, so I'm really torn on how I feel about it. To start, the book was really slow. It took a really long time to get into the mystery. Then the mystery happened really quickly. After reading the first article about the DT killer, I immediately suspected who it was. Even though a possible red herring was thrown in, I was sure who it was. It was super obvious, which I don't like in a mystery novel.

After the big twist, I wasn't sure if I was okay with that choice. It really grew on me. The more the plan came together, the more I liked the plot. It really tied the whole series together.
I mean naming your first book, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and then ending the third book with the MC commiting murder, covering it up, and framing someone else, was genius.

I really loved how Andie Bell came back into this book and how you got to see the reasons behind her actions. I love what Ravi said about it, " She was brave. Remind me of you a little bit. The Singh brothers clearly have a type."

The found family in this really surprised me. Pip always had really good friends, but Ravi, Jamie, Nat, Connor, Naomi, and Cara being ride or die type of friends was amazing. Shows that Pip's investigation hurt people, but also she had people who would look for her if she disappeared.

I'm not a huge fan of the ending
of Pip's choice of cutting off her family and friends to save them. It is understandable,
but it doesn't quite tie things up for me. I want to see a 5 years later. Does Pip put crime solving behind her or does she work in criminal justice? Does Pip become an investigative journalist? I kinda wanna know more of what happens after.
