What a ride! I’ve determined this is my favorite book in the series! Kept my attention the entire time, I didn’t want to put it down! Pip needs so much therapy! She is such a complicated character, I would love to see where she is in ten, maybe twenty years. This series speaks volumes to how screwed up our legal system is. Although I just learned this doesn’t take place in America (I must be very dumb). The ending hit me right in the heart with the text message. I also would have loved to know Pips reaction to the verdict as well as Ravis. Also their reunion. But I did like the open ending!

Finished this in less than 24 hours. The most I’ve ever been immersed in a book. Would recommend to anybody.

It took me a little while at the start of the book to get into it, were as the other books in the series I was into it from the start. However once it picked up I was invested. I definitely did not expect the turn it took but maybe I'm gullible. I enjoyed the twists the book took, sad with the kinda of open ending.

it's a sign of a very good book when, every time i put it down, i'm either left with anxiety that i'm being stalked, in real life, or tension and worry that i killed someone, I N  R E A L  L I F E ,
and need to frame someone else for their murder.

while it took some time for me to get into this book, it had me in an insane chokehold from the second half on. i didn't expect any part of what happened next, and the way that holly jackson laid it out was so masterful and impressive. i can't believe the way all three books are intertwined together to create one mindblowing story. i literally read like 300 pages of this in one day because it had me so enthralled.

this book was amazing. i felt like throwing up for a large chunk of the book (which, considering what this book is about, is a sign of good writing), but at the end i was actually sad it was over and felt a sense of loss. part of me really really really wants to reread this! already!!!

i feel a little weird about pip's choice to
cut herself off from her friends, family, and ravi, but i think it's a sign of her selflessness and willingness to sacrifice everything when it comes to the people she loves the most.
i also wonder a lot about how things might have turned out had pip
actually gone and gotten help. i feel like the way things ended up were very lucky and her gamble made it so that she could help billy, herself, and the DT killer's victims' families, while royally fucking max hastings over for life. with all that she stood to gain in mind, it makes sense to me why she did what she did and i'm thoroughly impressed that she was able to pull it off.

I didn’t enjoy the second half of the book as much because the whole story pretty much took a 180 but the first part was a tense and I was genuinely scared for Pip in many situations.
I didn’t like the second part because everything that happens it because she thinks she cannot trust the police and by setting up the whole “How to get away with murder” thing. I also thought Jason being DT was pretty predictable from the start. I was still scared shitless for Pip.

Absolutely phenomenal! I would give this even six stars if I could. The feelings, the energy, the emotions this series has given me has far beat beyond any other series I have ever read. I am gobsmacked, as someone who has read my entire life I’ve never found a series that I’ve connected to as much as agggtm. Holly Jackson’s writing is so gripping, and just when you think that was the end of the plot, or the biggest twist, boom it hits with another one. As someone who is doing Criminology, I really enjoy how this series is so real and raw about the reality of our world, the meaning of “justice” and the criminal justice system as a whole. Thank you Holly, for a series that will always have a huge place in my heart, onto reading the novella- knowing that it is ending truly terrifies me, but you have written what has become my favourite book series of all time and I’m so excited for what is to come, and beyond keen and ready for the TV show to come out. Truly Holly, your writing is everything and while this series leaves me terrified, it leaves me terrified in a way with so much love, emotion and feeling full in my heart.
