I was actually surprised by how much I disliked both the MC and FMC. I really liked Joselyn's character in the previous books; she was practical, smart and confident. So imagine my surprise when she's a disappointment in her story. And Prince Aramis is probably the first MC that I've ever disliked. He was the typical playboy in the previous books but once he's scarred from an accident and no longer a confident 'god' he suddenly decides it's time to settle down for the one right in front of him. And Joss just falls into it. She spends 10 years hating him because he took her virginity and then moved on to her roommate but the moment his attention is back on her (after 10 years!) she just falls right back. Like have some self respect girl! Oh and how can I forget, there's an 8 year old son that Aramis never knew about - I'm not really sure what it added to the plot. Overall, I think I only finished it out of curiosity for just how bad it would be.

It breaks my heart to write this review because I usually love everything Claire Contreras writes and I was so excited to read Aramis' book. Unfortunately, I did not care for this one. It felt too rushed and underdeveloped. I kept feeling like I was missing something.
Also, the connection between Aramis and Joslyn felt forced.

The Wicked Prince is Claire’s newest release. I absolutely love her writing and her ability to capture a readers attention and pull you into a story! I was intrigued with Aramis when I read The Sinful King. I was so happy to read his story! He is so full of life, charismatic, lovable and sexy! Joslyn is levelheaded, intelligent and a beautiful soul. Their story is simply beautiful! I absolutely loved this book and definitely wasn’t ready for it to end. I cannot wait to see what Claire releases next!

This book was good and a quick read. But like the first one, I was expecting more character development and a little more plot. Could the FMC be a little bit more mature too?? Let’s not talk about when she met him in his cottage, I want to forget this even happened.
Loved seeing the other Naughty Royals and where they were in their relationships.
Good series overall <3
