I am a huge fan of M.J. Arlidge’s Helen Grace series and was so delighted to find out that he had written another standalone novel ‘Eye for an Eye’, I immediately reserved it.
Jack, Emily and Russell are all living seemingly normal lives in different parts of the country.
Nothing links them except for one thing….not one of them is who they claim to be.
The three of them are ex-convicts, whose crimes are so atrocious that they have been given lifelong anonymity.
However, due to a leak, their true identities are revealed to their victim’s family members, and their lives will never be the same again.
A thought provoking and at times, hard read due to the subject, but it certainly kept me engaged with a twisty plot - as any thriller should.
