Ever since this series started, I knew Hollis was going to be my favorite Moore Man, and I wasn't wrong! Plus, I really loved the couple's dynamic in this book, I loved everything Ashley James did with Hollis & Ford: how it all began between them and the beautiful moments that show their love for each other. Plus, I loved reading about the supporting characters in this book.
Hollis has a charming personality that I fell in love with since the previous book. I love that he's an incorrigible flirt, that he goes after what he wants, and that he never misses an opportunity to mess with Ford. I also loved reading him talk about his past, his love for the ranch, and how much all the hard work he does every day means to him. Plus, reading him relying on Finn and August for important moments melted my heart in a special way.
Ford was a character I didn't expect to connect so much with. His personal story was unexpectedly painful, and I think that's why I loved reading him always having Remy's support. I also loved the way the author addressed his divorce and everything that went into it. And of course, reading him constantly struggling to stay away from Holli was one of the things I enjoyed most about this character.
Hollis & Ford meet not so anonymously on a dating app and I really liked that the author gave me all that chemistry and a great connection through their messages, also the tension that Ashley gave these characters just with those small exchanges was one of the things I liked the most about this book. BUT when things happen in real life everything is even more interesting because Hollis shows a completely different side that I really enjoyed discovering: I LOVED reading him having the sweetest gestures when Ford needed him, remembering the things that are important to him and sharing his guilty pleasures. Finally, I think the conflict that the author gave to the story of these characters towards the end of the book was VERY good to know how they really feel about each other, and to confirm how important Hollis is in Ford & Remy's lives.

I wanted to love this so bad. I really liked the beginning when they were talking online. After everything came out, I felt there wasn’t much talking, and it was mostly about the physical relationship. The spice, though… was hot 🔥

2025 is the year of stepping outside of my comfort zone. I don't read a lot of MM romances so if I don't like them because of that, well, that's on me, not the author! I read my 1st Ashley James book, Beautiful Mess written as A. James, earlier this year and I really enjoyed the writing there. I also knew that Ashley James could certainly deliver on the spice. And wow, the spice was definitely here!
Hollis and (Daddy) Ford are both such lovable characters in their own ways. Hollis is just playful and flirty, all-around fun. And Daddy Ford is relearning how to navigate the world of dating post-divorce after a long-term marriage (that makes my heart hurt for him). The tropes are everything that I love. The inclusion of online dating and hidden identity just made it that much better for me. The chemistry between the two practically leaps off the page.
And hot damn... the spice. If you've read Ashley James before, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't, prepare yourself. Read in public at your own peril because it is hot... hot... hot!
🔥Small Town
🔥Cowboy x Firefighter
🔥Age Gap
🔥Online Dating
🔥Hidden Identity
🔥Best Friend’s Boss
🔥Sneaking Around
🔥Opposites Attract
🔥MM Romance

Its fine and nothing too complicated or that super easy. Theres nothing to write about. The start of the book was kinda slow for me but it picked up after their first hookup. Their relationship was suppose to be a secret and the mc’s bestfriend wasnt suppose to find out. But the mc just cant keep his hands to himself and almost get caught twice. Its not really that forbidden because both of them are consenting adults, didnt work together. Its only the bestfriend’s boss. That wasnt so much an issue about it anyway. The taboo aspect of it was not that deep. Great found family. The next one will be the father and im almost certain that it will be with remi the best friend of this mc.
