Ever since ready Caraval in middle school, I knew that Stephanie Garber’s book would hold a special place in my heart. They are magical, romantic, and reminded me why I loved reading in the first place. Her latest novel, A Curse For True Love did all of that, and more. I have never been sadder to leave a book series behind, but am so thankful for the stories it brought j to my life. And to Evangeline, one of my favorite protagonists, thank you for letting me feel seen, and reminding me that our hearts are the greatest thing of all.

“But Evangeline had learned that love was more than a feeling. And it didn't have to be the safe choice, because love was also more powerful than fear. It was the ultimate form of hope. It was stronger than curses.”

This was so good and I’m so happy everything worked out the way I wanted it to. I love Evangeline. I love Jacks. They got everything they deserved. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I felt like the surrounding plot wasn’t as good. But EvaJacks was the star of the show for sure.
