Yay!! I finished the series! 🎉📚

RATING: 3,5 ⭐️/5 > Okay, I see the vision. Some moments were enjoyable but the book didn’t get a VIP spot in my heart or on my bookshelf 💁🏻‍♀️

Overall, I really liked it, but the final book was a bit disappointing (especially compared to the 2nd one). 😕

And I think it's mainly due to the amnesia trope that lasted over 60% of the book (I read it on my Kindle, so I could see the percentage). When I thought the beginning of the second book was quite slow and repetitive (it lasted for at least 100 pages)... here it was on another level. It was actually boring? 😴

But also, what changed was the POV. In the previous 2 books, it was only Evangeline’s, but here we had 2 more. And let me tell you... I just wanted to skip Evangeline’s POV every single time. It was so repetitive. She was thinking and saying the same things as in book one and two: “oh, but I cannot do this to Apollo, I am married, but Jacks looks so beautiful with his golden hair and blue eyes.” Plus, the flashbacks were killing me. 😩 Honestly, if it weren’t the last book of the series, and if the second book wasn’t as fantastic as it was... I think a lot of people would have dropped it. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Apollo’s POV wayyyyyyy more than Evangeline’s. And we barely got any Jacks POVs. (Disappointing) 😒

Also, we barely got any moments with Evangeline and Jacks… and it was frustrating and disappointing knowing that they are the main couple!! 😤💔

One thing I loved was that we finally got some closure and answers about Donatella and Jacks' relationship. 🫶🏼

The ending, however, was good (I guessed it but still thought it was really fitting and satisfying). And in a way, it was an open ending. Similar to the way Caraval ended. Maybe Stephanie is going to write another book? 🤔📖

I personally would love to read a book about Lala. She is such an interesting character! 😍✨

I think this was a great ending to the series! Overall I enjoyed it, however I felt there was a lot of filler and repetition in the storylines.

LOVED this entire series! Though this final instalment of the book, felt more like it was filling in the blanks of some details & a simple continuation from the second book, than having it’s own secure plot line. It’s still a very good, satisfying read & loved the unfolding of the outcome & the ending.

I feel that the evilness is one of the characters could've been added, to make it a bit more interesting. But overall still a very good book & series!
