Personally felt like the ending was messy.

This was an okay thriller...

The plot was quite layered but the characters were so one dimensional. None of their actions/motives seemed realistic and it just wasn't very convincing.

I liked how this book, at the end, tied everything up seamlessly, leaving no stone unturned. This was different to many other thrillers that I've read, which would leave you tearing your hair out with unanswered questions, story loopholes and convoluted-to-the-point-of-unfollowable plots.
As a character-driven reader, I did struggle with the unlikability of the characters for the major part of the book. Some of the characters turned likable - for me - towards the end, which was a bit late in my opinion (seeing as I'm a character-driven reader). The setting of the book was unremarkable and rather bland, with too many references to the characters' riches and one too many references also to the many pieces of designer garb that the characters happened to possess.
Overall, I wasn't a major fan of the book and found it hard to keep going with at times. That said, I did get a couple of laughs from the novel, especially towards the beginning. I think that more 3D characters and less of a pretentious air surrounding the characters would have made this a more enjoyable read for me.
