I wish to go back in time two days and not read this book. This was the first time ever that I experienced being physically sick to my stomach while reading something. Be aware of the TWs because I wasn't. If I didn't have to read it for my Uni class, I wouldn't pick it up. I understand the moral question and I admit that it is a good book for analysis, but it was very explicit and violent.

Honestly, I hated it. Though, that doesn’t mean it was written poorly. The writing was great. I was driven to finish the whole thing in one sitting. It was sick, twisted, and disgusting.
I know people who are as stubborn in their views as this Officer. People who are willing to literally “die on a hill” for their belief in something. I’m hoping this was a sick metaphor for that? But I’m not convinced.
