I wish to go back in time two days and not read this book. This was the first time ever that I experienced being physically sick to my stomach while reading something. Be aware of the TWs because I wasn't. If I didn't have to read it for my Uni class, I wouldn't pick it up. I understand the moral question and I admit that it is a good book for analysis, but it was very explicit and violent.

I reviewed this on the 18th of January as well. I loved Metamorphosis but this one was a close second. The description of the device, the thought of torture as senseless, the commentary on carcerality and authority...it was great.
