The author's writing style of talking directly to the reader at times was a little too personal for this type of book.

This was my first Coben book I liked it but I didn’t love it. I feel I only finished listening to this book as I wanted to see where it went and what happened,  and in the end I didn’t love the ending.

At times I felt like there was too much going on and found it hard at times to keep track of all the different characters. In the end I just thought I’m not sure what actually happened.

This does not mean I won’t try anymore of his books because I will. I’m just not sure if it wasn’t for me because I listened to it and at times found the narrators voice a bit of a hinderance. So next time I might try reading his work as a pose to listening to it.

A lot of different story lines so you need to pay attention - it’s like a big web. Starts from the outside of the web and slowly starts to come together at the center when all the perspectives come together and make you go WOW!

This was the best thriller I’ve read in a while. I borrowed the audiobook on Libby so I could listen whenever I had to put the book down.
