I've loved all of the books in the Truth or Dare Series but this one just made my heart sing.
I loved each character individually so much, and also ate up the chemistry between the three of them. Joan was a sweetheart and I loved watching her grow, and unlearn the person she thought she needed to be. Ezra was hilarious and I loved his protective side, and how he takes Joan under his wing. Nell was such a gentle soul, but they were also dominant in the best ways. They were insanely attractive.
I loved how special their relationships were, both when they're friends and when they're lovers. There's so much open and honest communication, and so much acceptance between the three.
I loved reading about relationship dynamics and gender identities that are less represented in romance (as usual, I own that I need to do more to seek these stories out). It's also a pleasure to read these stories in low angst books. There is inclusion of homophobia and lack of acceptance, but the main focus of this story is just the most wholesome love story.
This book was so well written, and struck a lovely balance between being funny, spicy, and impactful.
100% recommend Adora Crooks for all your polyamoury joyful needs.

A college student falls for her roommate and the girl they both like in this FMNB romcom.
This was… too fast paced for me. I didn’t feel like I really connected with the characters or was interested in the plot until all three of them got together. Maybe it’s because I’m a sucker for an eager puppy of a boy who can take a strap.
Medium burn with pegging, strap, praise and degradation, daddy honorifics.

The story follows three individuals who truthfully all end up being on the queer spectrum in such a beautiful way. We have extra who is a typical male who we see come to terms with his sexuality by the end of the story. Then we have Nell, our most beautiful written out she/they representation I've seen ever. Then on to our main character Joan. She honestly felt like such a real person to follow around in the story.
The way that her emotions were written on the page, can absolutely be felt through the screen. We follow her as well as she comes to terms with her whole sexuality and figuring out how she wants her whole relationship and being to be labeled.
I thought this was a really good Why Choose, polygamous story for 2024 🫶🏼
