This was absolutely insufferable to get through. I was so bored and dejected I watched a YouTube synopsis of what happened in book 10 so I didn't have to read it and move on to book 11. I felt like I didn't miss anything

Kept waiting for something to happen...but it didn't. But at Book 10, we're fully committed to the series. There's no turning back.

So my review won't be much different then most of the others that I read. I wish I could rate half stars because I would like to give this book 2 1/2. I like how it plays into the story line but......... there wasn't a whole lot to it. I very much enjoyed the parts with Perrin especially how he finally made a "decision". Other than that it really was more of the political humdrum with everybody trying to figure out how to control the outcome of the final battle. I mean really if you want to know what the Dragon reborn is planning walk up and ask him without trying to wrap him into your own plans. You may just find out that his plans aren't so bad. I think that it is about time for more of the main characters to wake up and stop being childish.

Has the feel of the first part of a multipart story. A lot of things are set up but not much plot happens. I'd be fine with that if the setup were shorter and didn't take the whole 800 page book. Low point of the series so far for me to be honest.
