I liked the magic thief! It was adventurous and full of Fun!
My little cousin's friend lent him this book and he wanted me to read it so I did. Underwhelming, though I mean not unusual considering its genre. It's kid lit and there's nothing wrong with that.

Read to Michael and he was riveted by the story. I enjoyed that it was well-written and fun at the same time. Michael was an especial fan of the secret codes scattered throughout the book (with the key at the end).
A fun kids book but I had a hard time getting into it at first. It was good, but not great.

K so the thing tht i enjoyed about this book is the completly straightforward simple way tht it was written. (I was actually kinda dumbfounded) now the characters are good and the storyline is the typical 'eh.' Kind. But if you enjoy the magic fantasy stuff this is definitly for you.
Great fun! Easy YA read. Wizard in training but not exactly Harry P. And a boy who can't tell a lie!
