This delightful little collection from the queen of small town romance herself will round out my 2023 holiday reads.

For 3 novellas about 3 brothers home for Christmas, I was happily surprised when I found myself ready to read every single one in one sitting. You get a little bit of everything mashed into an unrushed, fully fleshed out story for each brother - billionaire, single-dad x nanny with high school crushes thrown in; twin brothers who work for the family business, one with a best friend's little sister crush that's hung around for years and another with a lost-love/one night stand/second chance and surprise pregnancy story.. literally, all the things paced perfectly and with HEAs for all!

If you like:
- small town romance that harkens back to high school without making you feel like you're reliving glory days of your characters
- slightly possessive and protective MMCs and the FMCs who keep them in check
- feel-good holiday stories with a little heat and a lot of emotion packed into a nice novella..
.. give these a go. A perfect set of stories to close out the holiday reading bonanza of 2023!

Super cute

Really cute short reads.

There are three separate couples in this novella. They all overlap time wise. Sorta instalove but without

Nanny / Single dad
- loved them so much. Definitely my favorite of the group. Low angst. High spice. Super cute fiesty little girl. I would have read a full length novel of them but I’m glad it was just a super quick novella cause I wanted to know their story.

Brothers best friend
- My second favorite couple. Siblings best friends make me frustrated when the sibling tells their best friend to stay away. Or makes them promise at 10 years old not to date them and then it’s 20 years later. The two of them have been in love with each other their whole lives but never acted on it because of this misplaced sense of duty. Luckily this was a novella so the angst and the non - being together was very short lived in regards to their relationship. The communication was so great. Their banter. The conflict was even well thought out. The fact that her best friend smoothed it over and made the brother come apologize to them was hilarious.

Surprise pregnancy/ second chance
- This was tough. It wasn’t the surprise pregnancy that made it hard to read but the fact that this woman who’s current job made her travel around the world every few months and work literally 24/7 for weeks at a time didn’t think her life was going to change. She just kept saying I’ll figure it out, we’ll figure it out. I couldn’t stand her. I loved Tobias (though I’m a Ravenhood girly with a sweet spots for Tobias’). However he had proposed to her back when they were in college and she said no because she wanted to explore the world. Ok cool. So now he doesn’t want to put himself out there again because he’s insecure. He wants her to choose him and the life they could have because she’s going to have to give up her current life. Yet she thinks it’ll just be ok to have the baby with a team of nannies and no family around to help her. I am all about super moms being able to tackle it all but your life changed drastically after you have a kid and you have to make adjustments for the little life who didn’t choose to be born. In the end, it works out. I was annoyed with her the entire time though.

Now THIS is how you write christmas novellas. These were actually well-paced and not too insta-lovey. Bonus for them being interconnected stand-alones so you got a more complete timeline and picture from all of them.
