Minus the first hundred pages or so we have yet another great installment of the Dark Tower, and we are once again left with an insane cliffhanger at the conclusion. If I had read these when they were published and had to wait (possibly years) for the next installment I think I very well would have lost my mind. Luckily for me it’s been years, and I’m able to crack open the next installment later tonight.

As with the previous books in the series, this one left me almost ravenous for the next installment. A little slow at the beginning (with an abrupt introduction of an entire new set of characters, setting, and plot), the ending certainly made up for the lag. I'm also thrilled that book 6 isn't nearly as long and begins right where book 5 left off...
