as a kid, I somehow grew up reading Tintin like my mother did. this story in particular was on my top of 5 favorite stories of him growing up. I might have to re-list all the books in order when I finish again with all of them.

this was quiet enjoyable. the story was fun and I wanna see where this goes next. Would be 3 but Herge's blackface reveal and the man in a niqab bit left a sour taste in my mouth. (Ik this book is from the 30s but I'm not. Plus it's the 2020s and this is still one of the most famous comic series ever written)

Entertaining and unpredictable. Made me smirk a couple times. Unique side characters. A whirlwind of adventure and luck. Thompson and Thomson are my favourite comedic duo.
