This is such a cute story. Both main characters are intricate and believable. They’re fully developed and this love story is wonderfully amazing. I also loved the plot involving side characters, most of the parents or guardians feel flat but all of these were wonderful! I loved it all!

THE CHEMISTRY BW THE MC'S WAS SO HOT AND THE SEXUAL TENSION?? OUT OF THE WORLD. i could feel everything!! It was funny so it's a perfect lighthearted quick read!! Loved it!

When I read the synopsis for this book, I knew I had to read it.
I loved the romance. It wasn’t enemies to lovers, but fell more in the realm of bickering and annoying to lovers, and it worked! Their back and forth was priceless and watching them fall in love was equally wonderful.
The family aspect gave me all the feels. I wanted to punch Lauren’s father on so many occasions. Her step-brother had a good heart, but I also would’ve given him a piece of my mind. I loved Lauren’s relationship with her mom and Clay’s grandparents.
I cannot wait to the Jenny’s book!

it was a good light hearted easy read, pretty predictable and a little short which left me unsatisfied but i mean its what i wanted a fluffy romance with banter and a happily ever after
I Hated You First is such a sweet rom com! Lauren is Parker’s younger sister and Clay is Parker’s best friend and they all work together at the family business. Clay has teased Lauren for forever just like any older brother would do but he has secretly had a crush on Lauren for a long as he can remember. Lauren has unknowingly compared all the guys she has dated to Clay something she didn’t realize until her roommate pointed it out. A disastrous double date orchestrated by Lauren’s sister in law and dad opens the door to so many questions between them. What happens if they decide to walk through that door?
I Hated You First is an easy quick rom com read. This was my first Rachel John book and it won’t be my last! I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the Harwood family.
