This is brilliant! I love historical drama. I love the myths of gods and goddesses. AND I LOVE ROMANCE MOST OF ALL!
This book is so brilliant- it’s a mix of mythology and classic folklore. Of a girl who set on a journey for family, and went back home with a longing for newfound love.
It was a slowburn, but each plot was good for the next and the next. It was so beautifully woven and written, and the plot twists were amazing!
The symbolisms keep you on the edge too, and every now and then, a scene about to give away a huge part of the plot or the character’s story gets too good that you begin piecing pieces together until you realize that it’s been there all along!
Would definitely re-read! Though I wish there was a movie or series or manga about this too because this is just so good.

I had such high hopes for this one. Writing needs work, but it still read easily, and I was intrigued by the plot. Until everything started jumping from one point to another without any explanation. Things just started happening. felt very chopped? Last 30% were the most disappointing for me. Romance was mid, there was no chemistry even thoug I liked the characters. The twist was good tho, I did not see that coming. Overall, had a lot of potential, but it needed more words between plot jumps.

I wanna love this book because one the cover is great and the story seems interesting. BUT I couldn't keep enjoying it the moment the MC blushed even though her soul was taken just because the boy was handsome and that's just destroyed all my hope for the story. Yes I acknowledged that it's a me problem, so read it if you're still planning to.
