It was a tough read but a very necessary one. It's a very well told deeply personal story. I work in a male dominated industry too (although a blue collar one) and sexism is indeed a sad reality of those kinds of professions. And of course like in Kate's case it's always "only joking"...

Is this an important work? Yes. Is it an enjoyable read? No. It was a hard read. It was painful and sad and awful. But it was important. My rating is entirely because I would never suggest a book based on its importance. I’m glad it exists but I read and finished it full of the heebie jeebies.
