That was insane, so much going on, really enjoyed it. Kept me hanging all the time wanting to know what was going to happen next.

Okay, listen. By this point, I’ve fully accepted that I’m not here for the plot. I’m not following clues. I’m not solving murders. I’m here for the romance, the ahem, soul-shattering, tension-drenched, morally-questionable-but-hot-as-hell romance.
Now let’s talk about Lance Orion. My actual weakness. He checks off not one, not two, but three of my most hated tropes:
Vampire ✅
Professor-student dynamic ✅
Massive age gap ✅
...and yet, here I am, feral. He’s the grumpiest, broodiest, "you-deserve-better-but-still-pins-you-to-a-wall" type, and I am not okay. Don’t talk to me, I’m in mourning for my standards. All of this to say that, unlike grumpy Noxy, I'm loving Orio even more in this series.
As for the book itself, yes, there’s drama, but it has filler chapters like it’s being paid by the word. Will I devour every angsty, over-the-top chapter like it’s gourmet?
Yes. Yes, I will. I eat it up every time. No notes.
The humour? Immaculate.
The tension? Neck-snapping.
The spice? Fiery.
Do I wish the mystery plot had a little more weight? Sure. Do I care? Not even a little. These books are chaos, and swoon served on a blood-soaked platter, and I’m ordering another round.

NO BECAUSE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. WHY DID PEOPLE NOT LIKE THIS BOOK. THE ENDING….. I’m hurting and I love all of them and I’ve never been so tense in my whole life. I don’t understand, the twisted sisters are twisted. I can’t even write a review at this point. I’m hurting and I’m happy, but the pain is winning. What the fuck this was so good.
