Movie star meets Tennessee Mountain Ranger. Lust, love and romance follows.
I enjoyed this romance between two very different people. It had that forbidden love vibe going with his jaded background and her star power. The love was slow to build and hard explosive lusty moments but it was missing something for me. I couldn't really connect with these two as a couple. The humor i usually love from this author fell flat with this couple too. His brothers brought a little fun with their quirks but it was too brief. I am moving forward to another bearded brother.

Small town park ranger with a troubled past meets a big city celebrity (unbeknownst to him, initially). It's such a cute story!!!
Jethro is freaking adorable. I love his eagerness to do better & be better. He helps our FMC in her time of need & has no idea that she is a movie star! He flirts with her & truly becomes smitten with her.
Sienna is a curvy, Hispanic film writer who is also an actress. She goes to a small town in TN to film her current movie & ends up lost and saved by the ever handsome Jethro.
He doesn't recognize her. He miss hears her name. She loves not having to be the famous actress & having to put on a show with him, so she lets him be in the dark. Until she can't anymore.
The banter between these two is so funny. I liked how she cracks jokes when she is nervous. This is a real trait people exhibit, but Jethro just rolls with it. He can tell she's nervous, and he just eases it by joking right back.
The heart & sincerity are so sweet & swoony. The way the Author writes the characters with such patience & understanding, unreal. I liked that there was so much reason for a third act breakup, but like NOPE (spooked ya), no T.A.B. here.
I only included the miscommunication trope for the beginning,
Jethro's past was oddly not as bad as one would have thought based on the way Duane described it in book #1. But I liked that the author didn't shy away from it. I liked that Jethro owned it, didn't play it down, didn't act like it was no big deal. He tried to make amends by his daily choices.
I *aaaww'd* at the proposal! Stawp it.
So good.
I loved that Sienna stood up for herself at the end against her male co-star, sister, and the media. That was a great mic drop!!
Overall. I love this.

Light hearted romance with no drama, easy read. I liked Jethro and Sienna their story was cute. But my favorite was Billy (I wanted to know more about him and Claire) and Cletus was amazing. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
