With all the magic I'm not sure why so many characters need to be alcoholics. Almost every scene had alcohol in it. It felt very unnecessary to me.

"Payback's a Witch" is a light-hearted and easy romance and fantasy read. I enjoyed both the romance plot and the fantasy plot and the elements of the protagonist finding herself and her role in the world. I recommend.
