Absolutely devoured this book in 3 days as a buddy read. Tessa Vailey has outdone herself again. It is hot, romantic, introspective, inspiring, funny, and downright lovable. Chapter 18 will be revisited many, many times. Read it.

Super cute but had depth as well & I loved the characters so much. Tension, spice and realness all in one.

Ooh this book was fun and šŸŒ¶ spicy! My fav combo. I love a professor letting loose. It was fun how they came together and met. I loved the little town and their two worlds constantly colliding. I find the sister fantastic and now Iā€™m very excited for THAT book to come out! A quick fun read.

I thought this book was cute and it was definitely an easy read. I liked the fact that we werenā€™t dealing with barely 20 somethingā€™s and dealing with established adults. I also loved how Hallie was curvy and it was mentioned in the book but not something that was driven home because it wasnā€™t the most important thing about her. But there were some things that I felt were added that didnā€™t add to the overall story. Like Hallie being a virgin. That didnā€™t add anything at all to the overall progression of her and Julianā€™s relationship. The same thing couldā€™ve been achieved if she had been with two partners or twenty. I also donā€™t think that writing secret admirer letters is as big of a bad thing as it was made out to be.

CORNY, but donā€™t expect loads for Tessa Bailey at this point. It was fun, and there were cute moments, but it felt very fake in its sincerity at times.

Hallie is a the chaotic owner of Beccaā€™s Blooms whose had a secret crush for the last 15 years. And now that the crush is back in town, sending him a drunk secret admirer letter seems like the obvious choice.

Julian is a college professor who is ruled by strict times and schedules. He comes back to Napa, to the family vineyards, to take a reprieve from teaching to write a novel. One that keeps getting interrupted by an annoyingly intriguing gardener.

I really liked the banter and the ā€œdirty talkā€ but I felt like the story lacked a little bit of the depth that I really wanted from it.

Overall solid and Iā€™ll definitely read the next installment in the series.
