I picked this up on a whim during the MI Indie Book Hop and I loved it! The artwork is stunning and the author tells a compelling tale that starts as a hero's origin story and ends with breaking the cycle of war .
My only knock on "Squire" was how briskly it sailed through the story. I wished we had more time with these characters and got to learn more about the world. But I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would certainly read another installment!
