I'm obviously not the target audience for this YA novel, but I thought it was an artful concept with gorgeous art and interesting characters. The colors are beautiful, the world rich, and the message meaningful.

One nitpick -- sometimes the art mixes up the right and left arm of the character and her mentor (both of whom for which it is a major plot element). Small errors, but they bonked my brain a bit.
