Not particularly accessible if you live outside the world of academia, and not all of Mills' points are ones I agree with, but the overarching statement here is very important, and it serves as a very useful way to frame socio-philosophic discussions in the 21st century.

brilliant! i especially enjoyed how much mills focuses on whiteness, turning the responsibility on white people, and forcing us to acknowledge that racial history is white history. would def recommend.
