Wow this is a creepy story! How would you feel if you lost a love one and there was a drug you could take to talk to them? Would you take it? Well she did and now she is Haunted! This is how this story starts. She takes it and now she see Silas her love. It kept me interested and it was a fast read! I would definitely recommend it !

Finally an actual HORROR and not a true crime story nor a documentary, but I’m still looking for a book that we scare me to death.

This was a good read to pass the time, but I wished it had been more atmospheric and eerie. Much of it felt simply disgusting. It was indeed quite strange, yet it leaned more towards a story of addiction and recovery than about ghosts.

Embarrassing. Would appreciate if men who don't talk to women would stop trying to write from their POV. But also the men in this were all terrible. Everyone of every age and demographic had pretty terrible dialogue and traits and everything, actually. I think I was a little over half finished with this when I just returned it to the Libby queue.

This book hit a little close to home for me. As someone whose mother struggled with addiction & has passed away, it opened my eyes to how someone struggles to get out of its grips & the want to speak to someone who is no longer living can be so powerful. I loved this story as a whole though. I got Flatliners & Stir Of Echos vibes while reading it. Once it took off I didn't want to put it down. I didn't think it was so much scary, but some of the descriptions of things really made me cringe. It was definitely a great read.

I really liked the premise, but the last quarter was a let down.
