HOLY. CRAP. This book is TERRIFYING. I am so glad I read this in the morning. That's right. Singular morning. I read it in one sitting- Just a bit over two hours.
The main character is trying to escape an abusive, codependent half-relationship with her highschool ex only to find his ghost literally haunting her.
Fascinating ideas about how history sticks around, whether you notice it or not; about how addiction can consume people; about how grief can sometimes seem inescapable and what happens when you let the past consume you.
