It has a vibe similar to What Moves The Dead. I found the writing to be well done, and the plot details caught my attention and definitely kept me on the hook. I wasn’t necessarily a huge fan of the end, maybe the last 10 pages not counting the epilogue. But overall, I enjoyed the read, and the body horror descriptions were just enough to make me squirm but not enough to make me throw the book.
