A satisfying ending to the series, Goku and Vegeta's team up seemed destined for the whole series and yet it was done without compromising Vegeta's character traits or seeming sappy. I liked the epilogue as well as it left space for future adventures but didn't make them necessary while also being unexpected. While not the best volume of the series or even close, the finale is worthy of the standard the series set.
It's Dragon Ball, what more can you say. I read probably 5 other volumes and this on the Viz Media App.

What a glorious end to one of the greatest series to ever exist! I'm so glad I was able, after all of these years on earth, to read them all instead of watching the anime which I grew up on. Toriyama did a fantastic job ending this legendary series filled with incredible characters. It was a fun ride that I will forever cherish.

FANTASTIC ending to the Dragon Ball saga. It has everything - incredible fights, touching moments, funny scenes. Goku being actually smart. Callbacks from the very start of the series. And, of course, Mr. Satan saving the day!
The Boo saga was a high point in the series, for me, and this was the perfect closing for it. Nowadays we have Dragon Ball Super, but I wouldn't care if Dragon Ball ended here - as flawed as he is as a writer, I feel Toriyama tied everything together well, here.

“Kakarrot… You are glorious… This creature is far beyond my power… No one but you can fight him. I think I see at last why i could never beat you. I thought it was because you had people to protect… I thought that desire created some unfathomable power in you. But I have the same desire now. I have others to protect, and yet… I still fight to win… to enjoy it… to kill enemies… to puff up my pride. Not you. You’ve never fought to win. You fight to better your self! To push your limits! That’s why you never kill your enemies…”
Oh no!!! I finally finished reading Dragon Ball Z, Vol. 26: Goodbye, Dragon World! and I can’t believe I’m saying goodbye to one of the most iconic series out there. This final volume was a wild ride, filled with intense action, character growth, and a perfect sense of closure.
Boo has absorbed nearly everyone, and it’s all up to Goku and Vegeta to save the world. The fusion of these two rivals into Vegito was epic, but what happens afterward really kept me hooked. There were so many surprises, and just when you think it’s over, Toriyama throws in another twist. The fight with Boo is one of the best final battles in manga, full of strategy and raw power, but it’s the emotional moments that really hit hard—especially Vegeta’s growth and ultimate realization of Goku’s true strength.
The 10-year time jump was a brilliant touch, letting us see how far the characters have come. I loved the introduction of Oob, Boo’s reincarnation, and seeing Goku pass the torch to the next generation felt like a fitting conclusion to Goku’s journey. It brought the series back to its roots, reminding me of the early days of Dragon Ball.

This was a fantastic read. The story just gets better and better. Also, the characters are amazing and I love reading about the heroes that are in the Dragon Ball franchise. In the volume, Super Buu is destroying cities and towns on Earth, as well as people. Goku and Vegeta fuse together and become Vegetto. They go inside of Buu and save their friends and family. Vegeta makes his wishes on the dragon balls and save everyone on Earth. This also shows you what the future is like and that everyone is doing well. Also, Super Buu is now good Buu. YAY!!! This was another amazing installment to the series. Overall, an incredible conclusion to a great anime series.
