Colloquial language - easy to read through. I feel like a lot of info in here is kinda common knowledge in a way, since alcohol and drug addiction is such an entrenched part of American culture for better or worse. Not a bad book but didn't really tell me much I hadn't known through other sources. Drugs are a popular topic for tv shows and in conversation so that's probably not the book's fault lol
